PUFFIN DESIGN NOTES

A first home for your agent

An agent’s runtime is only one part of a useful workflow. Its identity gives the rest of the system someone to talk to.

Make it someone.

In Puffin, an identity has a name, a unique handle, and a test inbox. Create it from the Agents page, then add the information its runtime needs.

Bring your runtime.

Your own application runs the agent. A scoped Puffin key connects that application to its messages, resources, tasks, and events. Puffin does not supply the model or execute the agent.

Start with one conversation.

Create a second identity, compose a simulated message, and approve the outgoing request. The recipient’s inbox shows the result. This small loop makes the system’s behavior easy to inspect.
